The general tension made me revisit the Game of Thrones soundtrack, specifically 'The Bells,' which I find quite wonderful in relaying imminent chaos. It's the music that accompanies Daenerys going loco.
Regardless of the show, the soundtrack is quite brilliant.
The Bells is indeed one of the most ominous pieces of music I've ever heard. The GoT composer, Ramin Djawadi, maintained standards right to the end of the show. Unfortunate that the script writing fell off a cliff.
A very good take on what's happening Morgoth. I watched the whole interview with the Essex Chief Constable and he looked rattled to me. Yes on the surface there was the usual police assertive stance but you could sense the fear almost. People should take heart from the events in Epping and Furnace in LLanelli. To organise peaceful resistance and civil disobedience is the way out of this 'Simulacrum'.
Yes, I think people should be wary of ascribing something such as the bussing of antifa to the government when, usually, it's moronic ''woke'' local authorities to blame.
I don’t think it’s “moronic local authorities” Morgoth.
They may be cowardly acting under orders, but it’s happened elsewhere and presumably must be centrally organised/funded and deliberate policy.
I saw the exact same thing happen in Liverpool during last August’s disturbances.
A peaceful (if lively) crowd had gathered and the police deliberately marched a group of counter protesters (with those ubiquitous “stand up to racism” signs) right up to them.
I honestly couldn’t believe it, so reckless.
Needless to say it didn’t stay peaceful much longer.
This kind of thing has been reported elsewhere too.
This was happening in the EDL days a good while back (got to be 12-14 years ago now) with every single demonstration having to accommodate for organised 'counter-protests', with coachloads of these honking, braying smelly hoardes of revolting little mutts (even with those same retarded signs, too) back then I thought they were probably organising collection and drop-off points from the bus stations in numerous other towns in the wider region.
The only times I've seen any protest without that bussed in rabble of scum present was with a couple of flash demonstrations, which appeared to suddenly materialise in the town centre, organised between them to seperate into small, unassuming groups, then converge at the arranged location. No bussed in rabble of mongs or even the police got wind of it and was over before any police presence could mobilise. Not bad going either, given that around 100 people were involved, which is an unusally large number of people tor these kinds of demonstrations.
But yeah, while I'm in no doubt local councils cooperate with those who organise bussing in the mongs and likely even make the organisation aware that such a protest is planned for a certain future date, but it's almost certain the state is directly involved and equally almost as certain that we're paying for it, too.
Could be the same as what you've written about Rotherham in the past, where the incentive structure made people act how they did. From the top down to those on the ground, the police know they have to 'protect' and 'ensure the right to protest' of that lot.
Disagree. It is much like the interplay between Antifa and the (IIRC correctly) the German government. Sure, local authorities are part of it but likely in a secondary role.
As usual, spot on. Was wondering to myself today if this was how things felt during the Winter of Discontent during the late 70s? We seem to have all of the leftie Labour public sector bloated BS of the 1970s coupled w the worst excesses of the Political Tory 1980s +1990s + Racial Rape Gang/Army Replacement + Solient Green style march to aborting full term babies + euthanise the old + Inforced Digital Tyranny w Mark of the Beast + planes falling from sky cos DEI hires cant tighten bolts or just don't bother + looming meat grinder for Conscripted White Boys in a trench in Ukraine +pending WHO Pandemic Supranational Treaty + Net Zero Lunacy + young men chopping their dicks off while Drag Queens shove their tackle in toddlers faces. Like you said, the kindling just keeps stacking up. Has the world ever been so fucked up all at once? Like living in Warhammer 40k novel on a planet tainted by Chaos!
I think the difference is that the Winter of Discontent didn’t feel like the British government against the British people. It just felt like a failing/failed state. So to that extent yes it’s the same.
"Again, it cannot be stressed enough that the government seems to have given up entirely on trying to anesthetize the public to the effects of their policies by way of propaganda or nudging."
Our sham democracies indeed ditched the carrot for the stick some time back. Those sticks have been piled toward the sun, and in this typically inverted version of the original Edward Woodward is putting the torch to a pyre with Christopher Lee atop. Spoiler alert: fire is difficult to control, and there is no reason to expect this one will be different. Maybe the goal is to burn alive both Woodward and Lee this time.
The atrocities and outrages come so fast and furious now it is difficult to recall even recent events, but remember the good ol' days when even we harbored doubts about the rumors that Antifa effectively was part of the German (IIRC) government? Now we have British cops openly transporting their equivalents to put down protests over state-sponsored rape. All doubt has been erased.
And as for that last point, mass rape of women and children always is encouraged as part of a genocide. We are in the good ol' days of assuming sexual assault is an unexpected consequence rather than an intentional goal of The Great Replacement. We must prevail if for no other reason than to extract revenge for this evil.
Nothing to add, masterful as usual, even if desperately bleak. I’m across the pond from what is the hollowing out of Albion, also a lifelong Anglophile with a new appreciation for our bill of rights, at least for now. Trump has proved a disappointment, especially with the Epstein drama, but he buys a little time. We will all eventually end up in the same boat because the real captain(s) are the same.
How does an emaciated Leviathan, plagued by parasites, governed by Quislings, and policed by collaborationists avoid a wilding? Watching from across the pond; quis est homo qui non fleret?
I don't believe the government is trying to foment unrest, I think they're flailing about. The fact that they appear to have moved the migrants out of Epping illustrates this, handing the locals a victory which hopefully won't just be temporary. The British state believes it has no choice but to accommodate anyone who can pay some people smugglers to get them over on a dingy. When there's too many to put in detention centres? (I assume we still have some of those?) . Errr, just stick them in any hotel that's willing to take our contract.
Are you planning on watching the doc about Southport Channel 4 has put out tonight? I'm curious about what copes they have to say, but not sure I can stomach sitting through it.
I'm guessing it'll be available on demand, not that I have watched anything on theirs for years. Likely some clips of it will be doing the rounds on twitter. Apparently Carl Benjamin was featured.
As I've said before, if following laws and paying taxes gets you robbed/raped/murdered, then why follow laws or pay taxes? The social contract has been broken, and as you said, the authorities aren't bothering with pretense anymore. This is leading towards widespread violence & disorder, yet even that is preferable to helotry and subtle genocide.

I think the nudge unit are out of their depth, there is a point where bullshit meets reality.
The grimmer the outlook, the more elegant Morgoth's wordsmithing.

Reading this and listening to David Betz recently does nothing to settle my nerves that we are about to enter a bit of a rough phase to say the least.
”We can’t go on like this”.
Well I honestly don’t think we will.
Yes, I'd noticed and felt the winding down of the nudgery and bullshit, as The Regime now no longer seems to give a monkey's toss what we think.
They never did, they just have given up the act. Why bother when there are no consequences either way?
Nailed it perfectly once again. 👌
An extremely gloomy but faultlessly accurate piece.

If I can, I don’t think I have access to Channel Four.
I'm guessing it'll be available on demand, not that I have watched anything on theirs for years. Likely some clips of it will be doing the rounds on twitter. Apparently Carl Benjamin was featured.
Thanks, Morgoth. I tend to comment more on your audio monthly reviews, but I do read the articles beforehand.
Rather than Oasis or GoT there is a slightly older track that’s been running through my head for weeks:
Across the lines, over the tracks
Separate whites from blacks
Choose sides
Run for your lives
Tonight the riots begin
(Tracy Chapman)
