The American Empire Is Losing In Ukraine; so now what?

What does defeat in Ukraine mean for the possible trajectory of the West?

Seymour Hersh recently reported that the Ukrainian summer counter-offensive was going to fail — it was always going to fail and the CIA knew it was going to fail and Secretary Antony Blinken was told by the CIA it would fail.

Essentially, Zelensky would put on a great show for the Western media and political class which consisted of marching Ukrainian men slowly across minefields and into heavily defended mine-littered positions where they would strategically place themselves within the crossfire of the Russian army. Not to buck the trend of all American theatrical productions these days, the counter-offensive’s actual content was grisly and macabre, its impetus cynically self-serving and its reception cushioned by Google’s carefully curated algorithm. Nevertheless, Wikipedia reports that 43,000(!) Ukrainian men have died. The Spectator reported in July that ‘‘upwards of 16,000’’ Ukrainian men had died and in June the World Socialist Web Site had the figure at 1000 men per day.

In March 2022 when the conflict began the BBC carried a story that allows us a glimpse of the Ukrainian “teenage recruits” whose fate is now unknown to us.

The cost, in terms of Ukrainian manhood and social capital, is irreplaceable in a country with a flatlining birth rate. The financial cost is primarily carried by Americans with the aid budget running to the equivalent of $900 per American household. Across Europe the blue and yellow flags being triumphantly adorned across public buildings alongside the rainbow colours of American hegemony were taken down long ago, the few that remain looking ragged and tattered. The raggy Ukrainian flags of solidarity remind us of the heady days of the Ghost of Kyv, not Kiev, and Covid-19 finally being put away as a narrative — the ushering in of the new all-hands-on-board next Big Thing to get excited about.

Social Media influencers have long since moved on from the war they so enthusiastically endorsed, there’s always a new trans story and it reaches a point where Barbie just seems so much more fun and fluffy than the glitchy drone footage of young men having their kneecaps blown off in the mud around Krickovic or Karkevik or whatever the hell they call those oblasts. U2 are back on tour and Angelina Jolie is back to transing her kids for Hollywood social status, but still, the men in the mud continue to die.

Europe’s productive powerhouse, Germany, post Nordstream mystery explosion, has not just entered into recession but is currently facing deindustrialization due to its chronic lack of energy supplies.

The general outlook seems bleak because it is.

At the beginning of the conflict, there were nationalists who pointed out the danger of Putin’s Russia, citing the influence of Alexander Dugin’s anti-Western, anti-white ideology. The claim was that the Russian Bear would have to be given a good kicking lest Dugin’s Third Worldist philosophizing gain traction in the West, presumably vying for dominance with the West’s own anti-white hegemonic ideology. As things stand, the West is now losing control of Tony Blair’s stomping ground in the Saharan region of Africa. Niger now threatens to cut off French gas supplies and the region more generally is standing aside as the West’s “liberal democracy” proxies consider what action to take. The language being used by these new African upstarts is explicitly anti-colonialist and anti-LGBT which — much to the chagrin of a Western liberal — is correctly viewed as simply the American deep state’s social policy of injecting vassals with a toxin designed to dissolve moral structures, eerily similar to a spider feeding.

The pitch of the American deep state (as noted before) was once that everyone could be Michael J Fox in Back to the Future; that capitalism, individualism, and freedom were universal values and Hollywood exported the ideal wholesale and for free. Now the pitch is: trans your kids, politicize your women against you, and give yourself AIDS.

Unsurprisingly it lost its glimmer and anyway, those Chinese are arriving to build roads and they don’t come wrapped up in a rainbow.

Nowhere more is this rank idiocy and ineptitude on display than in the persona of the obviously senile American President himself. No policy is deemed too contemptuous of the Western natives, no differing opinion too minor to censor, and no public announcement too obviously laden with falsehoods and lies. Within the Empire, half the populace is driven insane by “verified” propaganda while the other half does not believe anything at all. People would sooner believe that their elite fired space lasers to clear the way for a lucrative land grab than they would the officially sanctioned climate change narrative.

It wasn’t obvious when writers and video essayists were comparing the news coverage of the Ukraine war to the film Wag The Dog but it is now becoming increasingly clear: the Ukrainian frontier will be the furthest expansion of the American Empire. A Caesar figure, possibly Donald Trump though aging, could at least bring about a conciliatory foreign policy and de-escalation wherein the Empire could consolidate its gains and defuse future humiliations before facing China. Alternatively what is becoming known as the “Censorship Industrial Complex” could simply crank up to levels as yet unseen in order to maintain the current situation of the sizable bulk of the population being kept in a stable and pacified condition of semi-retardation.

Traditionally the nightmare scenario would be to witness out on the periphery a collapse of power which allowed for the influx of foreign barbarians drunk on Dugin and anti-Western sentiment. But this hardly even matters when one considers the now long-standing policy across the West of open borders, anti-white ideology, and mass immigration. Western power centres and establishment intellectuals have essentially done all of the work of civilizational sabotage already and to turn course would be almost unthinkable, though not entirely impossible. After all, if the world outside of the West is accusing the West of being a blood-thirsty and tyrannical, even Satanic, entity then what use is ‘‘Woke’’ besides being an inherently stupid, self-destructive cultural trend?

The Neo-Con policy of “invade the world, invite the world” has been succeeded by the Neo Neo-Con policy of “gay the world, invite the world”.

Even from a purely Machiavellian perspective, the rational choice when faced with these threats would be for the West to re-centre its European population and its culture and instill a sense of patriotic fervor in the masses. Alas, it remains to be seen if the elite is even capable of wading into such waters. Decades of maltreatment and racial neglect if not downright hatred for white people means they fear what might emerge from such dormant depths.

No matter the demographic oblivion, dead sperm counts, and collapsing infrastructure, our destiny is set. We will chase the last traditional culture around the Horn, and around the Norway maelstrom, and around perdition's flames before we give the gay up.

Liberal universalism has become our Pequod, and our rulers are as mad as Ahab in search of its fruition, yet they cannot see or, due to venal corruption refuse to see, that we have become our own White Whale.
