In light of Keir Starmer’s controversial (and surprising) ‘‘Island of Strangers’’ speech against mass immigration, I speculate on how the Boriswave might have up-ended the leftist view of mass immigration.
My deeply ingrained cynicism tells me this speech is primarily to let a bit of pressure out of the cooker as it is getting too near the explosion point. It has Mr Blair’s grubby hands all over it. Nobody believes a word of it, only the bed shitting libs and the actual interlopers themselves are taking it seriously.
The best one can hope for is that he has unwittingly poked the hornets nest, but given the media’s short attention span, I doubt it.

The standard of MP’s is now so low, majority never having even had a Saturday job, I doubt even if they wanted to govern, they haven’t got a clue how to, though Dominic Cummings has said, all the big meetings were totally fake with pre-determined outcomes.
